Market Conditions

Sisters, Oregon, amidst ponderosa pines, rivers and lakes, has seen real estate activity starting up again.

With interest rates dropping again -- as least the last three weeks -- many buyers should begin to put their market fears behind them. And with high levels of inventory available in Sisters -- they will have plenty of homes to choose from. Local experts are reporting that the market favor is fairly balanced between buyers and sellers at this time. If inventory levels continue to increase, however, the market could flatten, leaving buyers with a hand up.

Price appreciation has slowed this year -- bringing the median home prices to the upper $400,000's -- down less than one percent from last month.
