Maui condo prices come in a little cheaper -- at least by the island standards -- at $765,035. This price is a 3 percent drop from last year.
While some reports indicate a drop by as much as 20 percent in sales this year thus far -- local experts note that it is condo sales that have suffered the largest decline. "Residential unit sales are up 25 percent from the same time period last year, " notes local expert Tom Delmore.
The good news for sellers is that such a tourist and vacation hotspot should continue to have demand for home and condos in the future.
