Most of the bathrooms are quite small and it is very important to think of the ways to save some space. There are many things that have to be stored in the bathroom and sometimes it is hard to do this and not create chaos in your bathroom. You’ll have to design carefully if you want to create a space for everything and still be able to move freely. If you don’t want to stumble over things every time you enter the bathroom you should check out the following space saving ideas.

Add custom-fit shelves

If you are having troubles storing all of your lotions and creams, the ideal way to fight this is to make shelves that will fit some unused space in your bathroom. Probably all of us have some space that is not used and that can be great place for new shelves. You can make the shelf by yourself or buy some that fits the unused space that you have.

Install a walk-in shower

If a tub takes too much space in your bathroom consider the possibility of getting a walk-in shower. These are by far less space-demanding but are still quite comfortable and a good option. Think about them if you are redoing your bathroom. If you are doing bathroom renovations in Sydney, choose local companies for help and material, in order to save money.

Use the corners

In small places, it is very important to make the best possible use out of every corner in it. You can find many shapes of shower enclosures and toilets that can fit in the corner and thus open up some free space for you to move while in the bathroom. You can also try to find a cupboard that will fit in the corner. By doing this you can make even the smallest bathrooms enjoyable and ready for use.

Install sliding doors

If your bathroom is really small and it is hard to open the door and not hit something you can think about inserting sliding doors. Many people use these exactly because their bathrooms are small and they needed more free space. The swing of the usual doors can take up a lot of space and this is why sliding doors have an advantage in such situations.

Install a wall-mounted toilet

Installing a wall-mounted toilet can be very useful when you are trying to save some space. They are quite strong when they are properly installed and there is no danger of them falling off. The tank is installed inside the wall so that it doesn’t take as much space as a standard toilet. Not only that this type of toilet makes the bathroom look bigger but it also offers you extra space under it where you can store toilet paper or any other bathroom accessories.

All of these ways can be very helpful when you are fighting against the tight space. Every inch that you save is important and you should think carefully when designing your bathroom. In addition to all of this, keep your bathroom tidy and never store too many things in it if you want to be able to move freely in it.
