Located in southern Orange County, Newport Beach is famous for a large boat-filled harbor. This place has beaches including Corona del Mar State and the Wedge. Other attractions here include the Orange County Museum of Art exhibiting contemporary and modern works. The Christmas holiday is a fun-filled moment for everyone in Orange County with various events popping up on various dates. Here is a list of dates to catch Santa events in orange county.

November 15

On this day, look forward to Santa’s arrival at the MainPlace Mall happening at 6 – 8:00 pm. This is a wonderful moment for the whole community to welcome Santa Claus to the new “A Christmas Story” home. After Santa’s arrival, families and kids will meet Santa’s favorite elves. This is backed by balloon twisting and face painting while sipping hot cocoa as the DJ plays top festive holiday jams. Look forward to amazing giveaways to 300 children who make it first at the venue. 

November 23

This is the kickoff to the Skydiving Santa celebrations from noon to 3:00 pm at Pacific City, Huntington Beach. The event marks Santa’s arrival from the North Pole to Surf City. During the event, Santa appears sky-high with two elves before landing at the Pacific City beachfront. Look forward to special surprises including immense Insta-moments with Santa and the little ones to mark the kickoff of the holiday season. The event is filled with holiday songs, candy canes, and Santa hats free.

November 16 – December 24

After investing in one of the Newport Beach homes for sale , look forward to stopping by Bass Pro Rancho to enjoy immense fun during Santa’s Wonderland. Happening at 5:00 to 8:00 pm, expect a free 4×6 for your family, giveaways, crafts, immense fun, and games for everyone. Pick your Bass Pass early to keep your time for a selfies moment with Santa.

November 29 – December 22

Taking place at Pelican Hill Resort, this is a Kris Kringle Story Time Mingle moment from Friday to Sunday from 3 to 6 pm. Keep time to watch Santa park his sleigh and set up shop in Main Estate Lobby. From here, Santa will read stories while taking selfies to delight kids of all ages. Look forward to gathering around the gingerbread display to enjoy stories at 3 pm, 4 pm, or 5 pm. Don’t forget to stick around for a photo moment and a visit with St. Nick.

December 7

La Habra Host Lions will host a Santa Claus classic and a custom car show for kids from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This show is filled with donating board games, pajamas, and sports balls to underserved kids. Additionally, look forward to other activities including:

  • Lions Club’s Tri-Tip BBQ
  • 20 Best In Show awards
  • Antique engine displays
  • 50/50 and opportunity drawings

December 8

The next day, visit Santa Margarita Catholic School at 5:00 to 7:00 pm for the annual Santa Stroll. This fun tradition invites everyone to support kids with cancer to Never Ever Give Up (NEGU). People are invited to come in teams to stroll with Santa. This moment calls everyone to join the holiday cheer to raise funds to support kids with cancer throughout the season. Attending this event allows spreading joy, creating smiles, and encouraging courageous kids to carry on the NEGU philosophy.

December 13

The Harley-Davidson CHOC toy drive pick-up at Pretend City Children’s Museum offers a wonderful moment to catch Santa riding a Harley instead of his usual sleigh. Look out for the fleet of other Harley riders picking up some wonderful new toys. Santa and the Harley riders will take all the toys to CHOC. Throughout December, make an effort to support the toy collection by contributing durable and cleanable toys to give kids in hospital.

December 17

Happening from 10 to 11 am at Pacific City, look forward to the PC Grommets Holiday Party. This kids club will offer a special showing of a cartoon version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas. The kids will also look forward to fun books, cookies, and hot cocoa while waiting eagerly to catch a glimpse of Santa & Mrs. Claus. This is a great opportunity for a photo moment with Santa for memories that will last a lifetime.

December 18 – 22

Beginning the next day, look forward to the 111th Newport Beach Christmas boat parade and ring of lights celebration this year. This event is hosted by the Newport Beach  Chamber of Commerce’s Commodores Club. Look forward to joining more than a million viewers to watch beautifully decorated boats, yachts, and canoes sailing along the harbor.
