After being a strong sellers market the last several years, Anthem, Nevada, is now seeing a cooling market.
Locals report, "Anthem is a master-planned community in Henderson on 2,500 acres with 6,200 homes. Established in 1998, new housing is still being built in Anthem. Residents enter the community between two large waterfalls with desert landscaping and grass throughout the development. There are three main sections of Anthem, which include many single family home developments, a country club and an age-qualified community."
Days on market are increasing. The average price is $534,000 -- considerably higher than nearby Henderson ($411,000).
One local expert reports, "Available homes on the market range from $349,900 to $954,900" at this time.
