Plano, Texas, has seen sales continue to decline this summer. From 2006 sales have dropped around 10 percent.

Single family homes are averaging around 46 days on the market at this time -- still a fairly quick turnaround -- and for around 97 percent of the asking price.

The average sales price is around $275,000 -- up about 4 percent from 2006. New listings are up 5 percent.

The good news for sellers in the area is that Plano offers a strong range of restaurants, entertainment, and schools -- which can all draw buyers into the region.
