Boise, Idaho, has reported mixed messages about its local real estate market.
While some experts are reporting that prices are on the rise -- with median prices up around $5,000 from last month -- some experts note that prices have fallen "for the first time in 12 month." The decline reported, however, was minimal -- at 1.3 percent.
Another local expert reports, "Generally speaking, it could be said to have been declining and possibly bottoming out following meteoric appreciation over the last 30 months."
Market time is considerable, due to a large amount of inventory available at this time and fewer homes selling than last year.
The average asking price is around $350,000.
