Boise, Idaho, home prices are stabilizing -- with 7 percent appreciation reported since the beginning of the year.
The average asking price is $280,819 -- up only slightly from last year at this time.
But Boise has a strong economy that should continue to fuel its housing market, with Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine featuring the city as one of the five best cities for mid-level professionals.
