Market Conditions

Jane Whitby -- Realtor in Tulsa, Oklahoma -- is reporting that the local market conditions are balanced at this time.

She notes that while it is a neutral market at this time, prices are rising, and "at the current rate of sale it would take 6 months to sell all of the homes that are currently on the market," with this trend consistent through most price ranges.

Homes prices above the $200,000 market are in a weak sellers market compared with lower priced homes.

Median home prices are reported at $140,000. And while there is slowed job growth, the median family income per year is still a healthy $51,000.
