Realtors Paul and Judy Wilson, are reporting that the Albuquerque, New Mexico, market may have cooled slightly, but is continuing on strong, with an inventory of over 7,000 home available -- up as much as 3 times from 2 years ago.
They note that "pricing continues to rise all over the metropolitan area, with "average" properties in the area valued at between $125 and $150 per square foot."
This rise in pricing was predicted by Fortune magazine, who in 2006 placed the city as #3 on its list of places to buy in 2007.
Median home price is reported at $234,000 at this time.
Aiding the Albuquerque market as well? An influx of buyers from high priced neighboring states of California and Nevada.
