The holidays have arrived, and with them come parades, concerts, tree lightings and much more! It can be overwhelming trying to keep up with all the holiday cheer, so we are here to help. We’ve selected the ten best holiday events throughout New Jersey for you to enjoy. Check them out!

Candlelight Shopping and Holiday Festivities

Nothing to do on a Friday night? Come to historic downtown Haddonfield to do some Christmas shopping! Every Friday night in December, Haddonfield transforms into a scenic city center. Shops are decorated with Christmas lights, and vendors offer special treats. As you walk along the streets, you will find choirs singing joyful holiday tunes and contributing to the festive holiday atmosphere. Enjoy a horse and carriage ride through town and top off your night with a visit to Santa in the King’s Court. This annual event officially kicked off on November 29th with a tree lighting ceremony and parade, but there is still plenty to see and do throughout December.

Maggiano’s Little Italy

Are you looking for a family-friendly event? Then this one is for you! Maggiano’s Little Italy will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday and Sunday in December. Breakfast includes muffins, breads and fruits, plus favorites like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast and pancakes. Kids can enjoy a visit with Santa and a special gift before the morning is over. One thing to remember: Get there early because seating is limited.

The Nutcracker Ballet

This is another fun family event. Beginning November 29th and lasting through December, you can visit a drive through light display at Schaefer Farms. You don’t even have to brave the cold to view the thousands of twinkling lights at this event. While you’re here, you can also purchase your Christmas tree, holiday crafts and decorations. Moorestown Lions Club 54th Annual Holiday Parade

Every year, the residents of Moorestown come together to ring in the holiday season with a holiday parade. In the past, parades have featured string bands, bagpipers, floats, prizes and a performance from the Moorestown High School band. Holiday Fantasy with Lights

During the holiday season, Storybook Land becomes more than just rides and games. Beginning at 5:00pm, visitors can enjoy a visit from Santa and watch in wonder as he waves a magic wand to light up the the entire park in spectacular, shimmering lights.
